Agency Membership
- Agencies licensed through the Virginia Office of EMS
- Attend trainings at no additional charge
- Opportunity to participate in our Death Benefit Plan
- Attend Rescue College and Convention and other events at no additional charge
- Voting rights at BOG meetings
- Access to various resources at the state office
- Copy of the Lifeline
Individual Membership
- Individuals not affiliated with a member agency but must be an active First Responder
- Attend trainings at no additional charge
- Opportunity to participate in the Death Benefit Plan
- Attend Rescue College, Convention and other events at no additional charge

Membership Type Descriptions
VAVRS offers the following types of membership.
AGENCY MEMBERSHIP
Agency Membership shall consist of agencies that are licensed through the Virginia Office of EMS who are interested in becoming members of the VAVRS.
Dues shall be as follows:

Agency Members shall receive the VAVRS publication, shall have the opportunity to attend the conference and all VAVRS functions and have a vote in the Association.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
Individual membership shall consist of individuals actively engaged in the training and/or practice of rescue, lifesaving and first aid work or those comparable activities of safety, accident prevention, prevention of the loss of life, injuries and property damage in an accident, fire or disasters from any cause.
Individual dues shall be $75.00 per year and each individual shall receive the VAVRS publication. Individual Members shall have the opportunity to participate in Association training and be permitted to attend the annual convention. Individual Members will not be able to vote in the Association.
